Philosophy
I like to believe that I’m doing at least a decent job, if not a good one. I know the game at all levels, from kids to pros. I read volleyball articles about playing and coaching, I love the game, and I treat the players the way I would want to be treated.
My priorities include:
- Treating everyone with dignity
- Teaching players how to win as well as lose, because they will be doing both
- Putting their safety first
- Teaching players how to have character on the court and the bench
- Fostering passion for the sport
To teach life lessons through volleyball;
By passing on my love and passion for the game;
To instill fundamentals, discipline, and self-motivation in a team;
Develop a common method of operating, a daily work ethic where each player must feel in solidarity responsible for achieving the objectives.
That means adopting a positive, respectful, and tolerant attitude toward each other and toward those we come in contact with so that the team may continually improve in unity toward a common goal.
In my philosophy, success is achieved by: work, pleasure, humility, and sharing.
